The Baffling Weald - a vast, enigmatic, and enchanted forest - tracks from the arid Ivory Dunes, along the resplendent plains, to the ruined Varian temple up north. Myths tell of countless minds lost to the illusory, sinister forces that reside within. Bastian nurseries resound bittersweetly with cautionary tales, warning of wandering too close to the woods' edge. Twinkling amber foliage, sonorous harmonic gales, and gleeful snickering all do well to attract the curious. But when one enters the weald, they often only leave but a husk.
