When the world's light was snuffed - the Oblivion took most of the living world of Falas Ordina - a small but mighty hope persevered, rumbling under the plank-flooring of a modest cottage sat on an island off the northern coast.
There, the seas and skies witnessed a great sacrifice, one that opened a much needed door.
