Din Irfan, scholar and Bast native, led a compassionate and fruitful life devoted to the pursuit of greater knowledge. While literature scarcely chronicles his personal history, wizardly texts denote techniques of aetherdrawing and protective enchantment pioneered by Din in his young adulthood. It wasn’t until senescence that his achievements in spellcraft appeared to halt. While a thin handful of figures in all of Ordinan history are aware of his remarkable contributions, even fewer knew of the immense darkness that festered in his soul.
