Darwish
Darwish
Set of two 16mm signature six-sided dice (2d6).
Long ago, there was a brief time of harmony between the industrious magitech of the Aruteeli half-elves and the natural preserved world of Falas Ordina. Sylvan spirits, faun clans, and faerie circles were yet wary of the consumptive, destructive forces growing the militaristic presence of the Kingdom of Aruteel. It wasn’t until their dominion sought to push far into the Baffling Weald that forest elders decided to congregate and act. A blistering 10-day campaign began: trade routes blocked with raging elementals, satellite encampments set ablaze in the night, and vast swathes of farmland were torched beyond recognition. Ascetics of the Circle of the Flame laid to rest any plans for encroachment, but in the wake of their fires, the village of Ghamra was utterly destroyed. Tragically, its namesake clan, known for its humble agrarian contributions, was slain in a fiery night raid. Unknown to his fellows, Abzat Ghamrathim, village patriarch and master artificer, had been making secret breakthroughs in the enigmatic and mystifying art of soul manipulation. All his findings were lost. Tales speak of the fate of young Darwish, his son, in the aftermath of that night. Woven over the people of Ghamra was a sheet of hellfire so raw, Ru’un himself was said to have seen to the incineration of every last fiber. It was an act so blackened with the flames of animus, it left only the charred body of Abzat’s only son. Myths allege, however, in place of the finality of a gruesome death, Darwish Ghamrathim’s soul miraculously persevered, fused with the hatred of Ru’unic fire, animated by a conviction and quest for revenge.
